Wooden models of tanks that were 350 × 170 mm served as teaching models ordered by the German Wehrmacht during World War II for the training of its tank units. The models were made by Ing G. E. Götting in Berlin.
This model represents MK IV Churchill, one of the most important and widespread British tanks of World War II. The design of this tank counted on resuming trench warfare. Therefore, the tank was well armoured, but was also slow. Different variants of the tank had different armaments: from the 2-pounder to the 75mm gun and from the 76.2mm to the 95mm howitzer. The model also shows a 7.92mm machine gun coupled to the turret and another 7.92mm machine gun in the frontal armour. Several types of specialised vehicles were also based on this tank.
