A simple accordion with a button keyboard was made by the renowned German firm Koch. Wooden parts of the instrument, connected by a textile pleated bellows, are richly decorated with floristic motives and the identifier of its manufacturer. Buttons are made of nacre. The accordion was given to Eva Broklová by an unknown member of the Red Army, who was billeted in her flat in March 1945, during the liberation of Prague. Musically gifted soldier decorated his gift with a highly visible engraving of the first name of his former landlady.
