A successful replica of SS-Obergruppenführer Reinhard Heydrich’s jacket was used as a prop in the filming of the co-production Anthropoid film in 2015. The cut of the grey-green coloured jacket is based on the uniform of the political organisations of Nazi Germany. The open, silver-lined collar features black collar tabs bearing the rank of SS-Obergruppenführer embroidered with Gespinst type thread. Epaulettes with a green border refer to the same rank. There is a chevron for the Old Guard on the left upper arm, an SS eagle embroidered with Gespinst type thread on the left upper arm, and a patch with the letters SD (Sicherheitsdienst) and a silver organisation affiliation armband on the forearm. The left front of the uniform is the most heavily decorated. There are ribbons of decorations, a ribbon for the Iron Cross Second Class in the buttonhole, a pin of a frontline airman, the pocket is covered with a number of badges – pilot, cavalry, sports, a 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class and the NSDAP party badge with a gold wreath. An interesting detail of the jacket is a defect in the right back part, which imitates the place of penetration of shrapnel from Kubis’s bomb.
